Habitats and Eco Engineering

Ecological engineering, defined as the design of sustainable ecosystems that integrate human society with its natural environment for the benefit of both, has developed over the last 30 years, and rapidly over the last 10 years. Its goals include the restoration of ecosystems and habitats which have been substantially impacted by human activities. A key aim is the development of new sustainable ecosystems that have both human and ecological values. This fits into the core values and aims of many companies nationwide and can be part of their corporate value or any statutory requirement placed upon a development as part of planning.
